Sports Day 2010

Namaskar Mandali, Based on the feedback received for Sport Event, one can say it was well received, supported and well managed. Thanks for the encouraging feedback. Though I received the feedback, I am not the only person who helped to make it a good event. In fact, many others contributed and helped. First I thank the committee members who helped me plan it, be there to pick up any task that came up on the spot. My sincere thanks to all the volunteers - Kedar Mangrulkar, Amit Ambardekar, Rajesh Pakhale and many others. Sorry if I missed anyone. I must thank Madhuri Natu (my wife) for taking care of tea, snacks, trophies, house set up, and other help. I understand she was helped by many ladies for tea and snacks. I thank them all. Thanks to Pawar family, Pakhale family and Nadgauda family for helping clean up and making the area as if ready for another gathering. Last but not the least, thanks to all the participants. Hope next year we have more participation. There were many highlights, observations of the event including 1) Enthusiastic participation 2) Ladies/kids group had good response 3) New winners/new faces 4) Marathi manoos loves and drinks lot of tea!!! 5) First time in MMSAC history we had three games (TT, Carrom, Chess) at the same time and all were seemingly smooth 5) Special mention of Samarth Kamle who is very quick and good in chess - for him no need for a stop watch. 6) Each game (especially all the finals) was very competitive. 7) MMSAC has sports talent!! 8) All sports were played in the right spirit. 9) In short, as in past, MMSAC sports event was a good success and most importantly it was fun for all.
